Brief history:
Take Mikado's owner and chef, Tsukasa Takeuchi, started Mikado Restaurant in the village of Grytan outside
Brunflo in 1987. In 2007 the restaurant burnt to the ground and Mr. Takeuchi decided to rebuild the new facilities
in Östersund, after having been offered a lot at the former military base camp, I5, in Östersund, now know as Stadsdel Norr. In December of 2008 he opened the new restaurant , Take Mikado, which translates
"The Bamboo Emperor".
